Logic’s ‘Super Mario World’ Video Might Get Him Sued But It’s Worth It

Logic is milking his stretch on the Endless Summer tour with G-Eazy, YG and Yo Gotti for all it’s worth. After using a ton of tour footage for his “Flexicution” video he’s back to the well for the “Super Mario World” video. Both tracks come from his July mixtape Bobby Tarantino, and while it’s all in good fun, the title and Mario font at the beginning of the video and Logic’s bouncing around with his buddy in a crude Mario costume just might get him sued. But the song is dope and the video’s fun so it might all be worth it in the end.

The visual is bright and sunny and literally full of double rainbows and cartoon characters. The 26-year-old MC spends some time gleefully bouncing around a private jet — even giving the nose a good natured pelvic thrust — as well as on board historic ship Mary A. Whalen, docked at it’s home PortSide New York. Logic also shoots some hoops with Mario, dropping him with a crossover before bringing him on stage during his performances on the Summer tour.

While Logic is still churning out material from Bobby, he reportedly is working on his next album, due out this year, and will also be featured on the Madden 17 soundtrack when the game drops August 23rd.
