Iggy Azalea’s world was rocked last week when reports began coming in that Nick Young had cheated and knocked up his ex-girlfriend Keonna Green again. The two already share a son together. At the time, the blonde rapper wasn’t sure if the reports were true, but it kind of didn’t matter at that point since Iggy had already announced she and Nick were no longer together because she caught him cheating on her with numerous women via their home security camera. Still, Keonna Green recently did an interview and confirmed she is indeed pregnant with Swaggy P’s kid and gave Iggy some advice.
Sharing her side of the salacious story, Keonna spoke with Us Weekly and revealed that she didn’t even know Swaggy P and Iggy Azalea were a thing until she saw the couple on TMZ in 2013. In fact, Swaggy initially denied the budding romance. “I inquired and there was denial. We had a rough patch from there. A couple of months into them being an item, she was moving into the house,” Keonna told the magazine.
Then just three months after Nick proposed to Iggy, Keonna’s relationship with the Laker star turned intimate again and the mother-of-one confronted Nick about being honest with Iggy. Nick refused and Keonna tried to do it herself, telling Us Weekly, “I tried to reach out to her; I never got a response.”
Now a couple of months pregnant with Nick’s baby, Keonna says she doesn’t regret anything and will definitely not be apologizing to Iggy because she’s not at fault here.
I wish her a lifetime of success. … I mean, I’m definitely not going to apologize for being in love with a man who I have a lot of history with. I do wish her that kind of success and hope that she can get through this difficult time and she and Nick can move forward from this.
The tabloid interview may end up costing Keonna. Iggy’s attorney reportedly sent an email to Keonna’s lawyers, threatening them with a lawsuit if Keonna “airs out [their] client’s soiled laundry.”
