Quavo Takes A Break From The Migos On This New Solo Single ‘Paper Over Here’

It’s official, Quavo is going solo…for now at least. It doesn’t appear that the Migos member has any designs on taking a permanent vacation from the trio, especially now given all the hype and attention they’ve received from their No. 1 album Culture, but he has apparently decided to step out on his own for a little solo side project action and has a new single out called, “Paper Over Here.”

Produced by OG Parker, who worked with Migos previously on “Slippery,” the new song is a tender, trap send-up to the almighty dollar. “All this money coming in my way / F**k what a hater even got to say / Me, myself, and I cruise down the highway / Pull up to the bank I walk right out with 100K (cash) / New money, blue hundreds, no I ain’t running from it / Got foreign currency from doing shows across the country / ‘Case an emergency I got some more money stashed.”

It’s a short track, more of an idea for a song than a fully-fleshed out work, but it will no doubt throw fuel on the fire of the discussion about whether or not Quavo would be better off as a solo artist.
