Ty Dolla $ign’s Campaign is a little over a month away and his decision to promote it by releasing the new track “Zaddy” won’t do a damn thing to quench fans’ hunger for project. The song’s only going to make the wait that much worse for what he’s previously called “the soundtrack for the summer” that just so happens to be releasing in early fall.
Following the release of “No Justice” and the Future-assisted title track, “Zaddy” finds Ty focusing in on the ladies, particularly a new plaything who taken a strong liking to and how she pronounces her nickname for him. The lyrics are filled with Ty’s usual rounds of sexual boasts and promises of “running up a budget” to keep his honey satisfied and fans will walk away feeling fulfilled, too, since the slight use of Auto-Tune and the rich production are like cotton candy for the ears.
