Denzil Porter releases the music video to “Fire Drill” off of Porter’s Pot, Not Hosted by DJ Drama. “Fire Drill” features Uptown rapper C Fresh and was produced by The Awesome Sound of L7 and native producer Claws.
“Fire Drill” is a heads up that just like fire, when Denzil Porter is in the building, everything clears out. The track is already a hometown favorite off of recently released Porter’s Pot, producing high crowd energy every time performed. C Fresh, an artist Denzil grew up with, is credited for his realism, bringing natural heat to the record. Denzil received the original “Fire Drill” instrumental from The Awesome Sound and immediately hit the studio to lay the verses. However, it wasn’t until Claws, Denzil’s long time producer, took the track and tweaked it a bit, that it became the banger it is today. “Fire Drill” delivers the right amount of smoke needed to hold us over through the rest of these hot summer days.
