Young Thug Is Being Ripped To Shreds Over An Offensive Tweet About Black Women [Update]

Malcolm X once said, “The most disrespected person in America is the black woman.” Those words are ringing true Thursday morning after Young Thug tried to clarify those ignorant and hurtful insults he hurled at two two airline employees Wednesday.

Thugger got into an argument with the women over a flight-related issue and reacted by calling them “nappy-headed peasants” who “looked African.” Obviously, one can’t just go around spreading their gross misogynoir all willy nilly without getting checked. Thug was rightfully reamed on social media only to later hop on Twitter and dig himself an even deeper hole.

“BTW that message wasn’t to all my black women…… it was to those two black burnt women [laughing emoji], Young Thug tweeted late Wednesday night in clarification of his “nappy-headed peasants” confrontation. Again, one cannot simply tweet their gross misogynoir without a care in the world and expect everyone to turn a blind eye. Fans swiftly ripped into the 25-year-old rapper for his weak clarification and disrespect.

“Young Thug is trash for that internalized oppressive sh*t he pulled with those two women. The self-hate is real. F*ckin socialized & shameful,” tweeted a disappointed fan following Thug’s comment. “With all the dresses & colored nail polish he wears, Young Thug is a burnt black woman himself. He’s alienating his black female fans.” Many also aren’t accepting Thug’s clarifications, tweeting out, “I don’t care what you say. There was zero excuse for that. Nappy headed peasants?!! Shuckin’ and jivin’ now. SMH.”

Another fan said the tweet was rife with self-hate because Thug himself is a burnt black woman. “With all the dresses & colored nail polish he wears, Young Thug IS a burnt black woman himself. He’s alienating his black female fans.” While others are calling for a boycott. “Young Thug ugly ass is canceled, he got a new set of teeth and forget he was still ugly. Smh.”
