Are Young Thug And Future Releasing A Collaborative Project Tonight?

If you enjoyed Young Thug and Future’s previous collab tracks, there may be a lot more where that comes from. Rumors are percolating on social media that Young Thug and Future are set to release a collaborative project tonight. How do we reach this hypothesis? For one, Hits Daily Double made a post today noting that industry insiders were “abuzz” about a surprise release this week. Curiously, the report didn’t mention the terms artist, group, or band when discussing the release, leaving it open to even more speculation than usual.

Along with that article, there’s some idle chatter on Twitter about a release (or two):

There’s a couple pretty weighty names speculating. BBC Radio’s DJ Semtex noted some fire is dropping tomorrow without being specific. Also, the co-founder of the Audiomack streaming service mentioned two mystery Atlanta artists set to release a project. Audiomack is becoming a viable alternative to Soundcloud for trap artists, so he would likely be in contact with people in the know.

There’s also Young Scooter’s tweet that his Street Lottery 4 collaboration tape with Thug and Future was coming soon, confirming that the two have been around each other. It’d seemingly be nothing for the famously prolific artists to work on their own project while working with Scooter as well. After squashing whatever issues they had, they’ve been seen together a lot for over a year now.

There are two early October posts on YSL Apparel’s official Instagram page, one with a voice that sounds like Future telling Thugger “it starts with me and you.” Who knows what that’s referring to, or what the “only the beginning” caption could mean, but there’s an intriguing amount of smoke out here. Look out around midnight to see if the fire project drops, and/or another surprise is coming.
