’90s Goth Girls: Your favorite movie from high school is getting a remake

The '90s movie that cemented my everlasting love of Fairuza Balk is getting a remake.

Sony Pictures has hired up-and-coming director Leigh Janiak (“Honeymoon”) to helm and co-write a remake of the 1996 teen horror flick “The Craft,” according to The Wrap. Janiak will co-write with Phil Graziedi, also her creative partner on “Honeymoon.”

“The Craft” starred Balk, Robin Tunney, Neve Campbell and Rachel True as a group of high school witches who live to regret their dabblings in the black arts.

Not sure how this one's gonna work without Fairuza's special magic. Tough act to follow.
