The world of “Boy Meets World” is getting bigger.

Twelve years after the original series ended, The Disney Channel is reportedly developing a “Boy Meets World” sequel series called “Girl Meets World.” The show will focus on the adventures of the pre-teen daughter of the original’s Cory and Topanga.

According to TVLine, “Boy” stars Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel are in talks with Disney to reprise their roles as high school sweethearts-turned-spouses Cory and Topanga.

“Boy Meets World” aired on ABC from 1993 to 2000. At the series’ end, Savage was 20 years old, and Fisher was 19.

Savage has since appeared on several TV shows, including “Bones” and “Chuck,” while Fishel appeared in “National Lampoon Presents Dorm Daze” and acted as the host of Style Network”s “The Dish” until cancellation in 2011.
