Watch: ‘Captain America 2’s’ Anthony Mackie hijacks our mic to interview Frank Grillo

If you ever spot Anthony Mackie and Frank Grillo on a red carpet together, a word to the wise: just get out of the way and let them do what they’re going to go.

The “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” co-stars were a force of mic-dropping chaos to be reckoned with at Comic-Con over the weekend, working the press line for the forthcoming Marvel sequel with enough unbridled energy to leave even the most seasoned of red-carpet reporters slack-jawed.

“When Captain America was whooping your ass, how did that feel?” Mackie asked Grillo, referencing the footage that was screened at the film’s Hall H panel.

“Captain America was not whooping my ass! I don’t know if you saw the reel, but…”

“Oh, I did. It was funny because it was twelve of y’all and one Captain America, and he said…”

“No, I fell down. I tripped.”

“And you hit your head?”

“I hit my head, and then he hit me with that shield.”

“Oh, ok.”

“He’s got a shield. I don’t know, have you ever seen that thing?”

“Yeah, yeah, yeah. But I saw you had two tasers, and he punched you.”

“One of the tasers wasn’t working.”

“So why were you carrying it?”

“It wasn’t my taser, I picked it up from the ground. You didn’t watch the…”

“Are you scared of Captain America?”

“A little bit.”

“Oh ok, alright.”
