So! Last night's premiere of the “X-Files” revival was … a mixed bag (although the ratings are looking pretty darn good). Which, if you ask me, those mythology episodes almost always are.
But tonight, it looks like we're going to be in for a monster-of-the-week, and that should be a lot of creepy fun. Mulder and Scully are apparently back on the job, and investigating a suicide. They try to ask a kid named Kyle questions about it, but his mother won't let them in. And then the birds gather …
The trailer gives us a lot more, from explosions to fistfights to running around with flashlights to a monster in the rain. Oh, and some creepy children. No great “X-Files” episode is ever complete without a few creepy children, right? Right.
