Could Rocket Raccoon be headed for ‘Avengers: Infinity War’?

It looks like a Guardian of the Galaxy is crossing over to the world of The Avengers, but it”s not who (or what) you might think.

In an interview with The Verge, writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely gave a big hint that Rocket Raccoon (voiced by Bradley Cooper) will make an appearance in the Avengers: Infinity War films.

While discussing how they will make characters in those movies feel like part of a broader reality, Markus said, “Whether they”re a 12-foot purple guy, or a raccoon, or an android, they”re all people, and we”re going to write them as people. You can”t write them any other way.”

Rocket”s been busy in recent days. In addition to the wildly-popular Guardians of the Galaxy movie, he”s featured in the Guardians TV show on Disney XD (voiced by Trevor Devall). Cooper will be back to voice the character in Guardians 2, which is set for a 2017 release.

Avengers: Infinity War – Part I is slated for a 2018 release, while Infinity War – Part II is scheduled to come out in 2019.
