Daniel Radcliffe plans to see a midnight showing of ‘Force Awakens’ … in disguise

Daniel Radcliffe is a massive “Star Wars” fan and finally old enough to see a midnight showing … but maybe a little too famous to do it without hiding his face.

Radcliffe was on “Conan” last night, sporting a freshly-shaved head (it's for a role) and promoting his upcoming film “Victor Frankenstein.” But there's another upcoming film he's also very excited for: “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”

Radcliffe told Conan O'Brien that he's hoping to go to opening night — specifically, a midnight screening. But he's worried that there might be some crossover between rabid “Star Wars” and “Harry Potter” fans in the crowd, so he'll do it in costume to avoid detection.

“I was thinking about going as a Wookiee,” Radcliffe said, but then wondered if perhaps he shouldn't say that in case people go around unmasking all Wookiees at midnight showings in the hopes that he'll be one of them.

O'Brien had a suggestion: Radcliffe could hide in plain sight.

“You should go as Harry Potter,” O'Brien said.
