Lois Lane Is A ‘Triple Threat’ As She Gets ANOTHER Young Adult Novel

Gwenda Bond's successful Lois Lane young adult book series is getting a third installment! Switch Press has officially announced Lois Lane: Triple Threat.

Lois Lane debuted alongside Superman in Action Comics #1 and has gone on to be featured in her own comics and adapted to both the big and small screen, but Bond's books are the first time she's been presented specifically for a young adult audience. DC Entertainment is also working on YA books for Wonder Woman, Batman, Superman, and Catwoman.

In the series, from Capstone's YA imprint Switch Press, Lois is a high school student who's just moved to Metropolis and starts digging into mysteries. Lois Lane: Fallout and Lois Lane: Double Down were the two previous installments.

“I can”t overstate what an honor it is to be part of Lois Lane”s history and tell stories about her for a new audience,” says Bond. “I”m also extremely grateful for the support of the fans of the books and the character – you”re the reason I get to keep doing this and so thank you all!”

She also echoed this sentiment on Twitter:

“The critical and fan response to Lois Lane: Fallout & Lois Lane: Double Down has exceeded our expectations and we are excited to continue the series with Triple Threat,” said Beth Brezenoff, Editorial Director of Capstone/Switch Press. “Book three will further Lois”s relationship with SmallvilleGuy and bring her deeper into the crime filled underbelly of Metropolis – readers will love what Gwenda Bond has come up with.”

Lois Lane: Triple Threat will be released on May 1, 2017 and a new Lois Lane comic, Superwoman, from DC Comics is set to be released next week.
