Class, the latest Doctor Who spin-off, finally has its primary cast in place, and you've most likely never heard of any of them.
Billed as “exciting young new talents,” Greg Austin, Fady Elsayed, Sophie Hopkins, and Vivian Oparah will play students at Coal Hill School, which Who fans of all ages should recognize from the series (it's been around since the very first episode in 1963). Katherine Kelly has been cast as their teacher and a “powerful new presence,” as per the press release. Kelly's better known in Britain, but you may have seen her here as Lady Mae in Mr Selfridge.
Class is billing itself as a British Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It'll air on BBC America sometime this fall.
