Emmy Award winner Jessica Lange has a good ‘American Horror Story’ fan tale

LOS ANGELES — Jessica Lange hears a lot of feedback from fans about her roles in “American Horror Story,” and after she nabbed the Emmy Award for Lead Actress for a Miniseries or Movie, she relayed one of her favorite reactions.

“One day I was walking down the street… and I passed this group of young men that were sitting on a stoop and as I went by I heard the guy say, 'Holy sh*tballs, The Supreme!'” she smiled. “I thought that was the greatest thing ever.”

She described shooting and making “AHS” as “always very thrilling. We move fast… I find I work well in chaotic situations,” and said that the next season of the series, “American Horror Story: Freak Show,” is “the most extraordinary we've ever done.”

“If it can all come together, I think it's going to be something really really special,” Lange said.

Check out how Lange felt when she heard her name called for the honor in the Emmys ceremony, and what other contests she'd really like to win (hint: it's a horse race).
