Exclusive clip: It’s a dumpster smash on ‘Untold Stories of the ER’

You know, there are some things we just don’t think about as much as we should. What is the meaning of life? What would traffic be like if we could fly? What if a dumpster was dropped on my face? Maybe we don’t want to think too much about that last one, as we all want to be able to sleep at night. But, thanks to “Untold Stories of the ER” (Fri. at 10:00 p.m. on Discovery Fit & Health, repeats Sat at 10:00 p.m. on TLC), we can get an idea of what that might be like. Short answer? Bloody and painful! You’re welcome! In this exclusive clip, ER doctor Kevin Klauer treats a man who’s been injured in a “freak dumpster accident.” I would think all dumpster accidents are freakish, but you never know.

Also in this episode, Emergency Department Nurse Terry Foster finds himself in an unusual predicament: the only bed in which he can treat an overdosing, foul-mouthed prostitute is right next to an elderly nun who”s awaiting hip surgery. Is this a sitcom yet? Because I would SO watch it if it is.

And then, although his middle-aged patient appears to be having a stroke, Dr. Matthew Valente is convinced she”s suffering from something more elusive. With the woman”s grown children, one of whom is a medical intern, breathing down his neck, Dr. Valente has to make a bold decision – and fast.

Are you going to watch “Untold Stories of the ER”? If for no other reason than to see the prostitute and the nun? Come on!
