Man, it was not easy being a Viking woman. Lagertha is one fierce mother (literally), and while she can kick ass on the battlefield, her new husband Sigvard has no problem hitting her when he doesn't like what she has to say. That doesn't stop her from standing up to him in this exclusive clip from this week's episode (airing Thurs. April 3 at 10:00 p.m. on History).
Not surprisingly, Lagertha still has a soft spot for Ragnar. Who can blame her? Of course, it's easy to make a case when Sigvard is being a drunken, mean-spirited jerk. Also in this episode, King Horik returns to Kattegat with a proposition for Ragnar, plus Athelstan (who is still struggling with his inner demons) gets cozy with King Ecbert.
