Exclusive: Find out what Batgirl, The Flash, and more get up to this July

For many, summer means fun in the sun, vacation, and a chance to finally break out half their wardrobe that”s been in storage. For DC Comics” fans, it signifies something else. The release of the oversized Annuals!

Since the New 52 launched, DC has chosen a few lucky on-goings to receive a special edition each July. Standing at a whopping 48-pages, the Annuals give creators a chance to either spin stand-alone stories that cannot be baked into the character”s current arc or as a way to let the artist really shine with twice the amount of pages usually allotted to tell the hero”s story in.

They are also obviously a little something extra for the Pokemon Collectors of comic books to covet and catch.

After the jump, HitFix Harpy got a sneak peek at the covers and solicits for 5 of the DC heroes and villains that will receive a 2015 Summer Annual. Including three comics receiving their debut Annual!
