While Gillian Jacobs' years on “Community” prove she's capable of handling staggering irreverence, she still found the warped world of “Hot Tub Time Machine 2” an unusual experience since she plays its only comic female character. That didn't stop her from enjoying it.
“Every so often it's fun to be the only girl on set,” she said. “You get all the attention, which is really what we're after as actresses.”
We sat down with Jacobs to discuss the comedy cliches she hates (Do not ask her to play an architect), the reason she's obsessed with the movie “Twins,” and the people who deserve more credit for being funny.
