Harrison Ford returns to Comic-Con for ‘Ender’s Game’

Although he probably won’t answer too many questions about “Star Wars,” Harrison Ford is returning to the San Diego Comic-Con next month, with the highly-anticipated “Ender’s Game.”

The Gavin Hood-directed adaptation of Orson Scott Card’s bestselling sci-fi novel will have a strong presence at the Con this year, with Summit Entertainment planning a starry panel where they’ll premiere never-before-seen new footage, and several additional fan events.

The studio’s panel will take place in Hall H on Thursday, July 18, and will feature “Ender’s Game” stars Ford, Asa Butterfield, Hailee Steinfeld and Abigail Breslin, plus Hood and producer Bob Orci.
“Ender” fans can also visit a specially constructed exhibit outside of the Hilton Gaslamp, which will be made up 8 unique rooms representing different parts of the film’s elaborate world. There, attendees can check out original film props and set pieces, watch exclusive film footage on futuristic LED screens, and check out a simulacrum of the film’s main set, the Battle Room, where Ender and his fellow recruits train in order to face an imminent alien threat.

“Ender’s Game” opens November 1.
