With the success of Deadpool in mind, there”s been a great deal of discussion about other potential R-rated superhero movies. Wolverine 3 may aim for an R-rating and there”s already discussion of a R-rated cut of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.
To no one”s real surprise, Disney CEO Bob Iger answered the question of a Marvel R-rated film during an investor call with a resounding “no” (via /Film). The MCU plans to stay the PG-13 course and let the other studios head down the rated R alleyways.

Perhaps the time for another Punisher movie has arrived? Or is Netflix the ideal place for that character?
