Welcome to the latest round of HitFix's Heroes Vs. Villains March Mayhem! We've reached the Elite Eight of this tournament, and have hit a pretty stark gender split: all four remaining heroes are women, and all four remaining villains are men.
On the hero side of things, we've got Ripely from the Alien movies vs. Furiosa from Mad Max: Fury Road, and reigning champ Xena versus Agent Peggy Carter. On the villain side, will the Joker's disturbing laugh outdo Die Hard baddie Hans Gruber's very dry reading of “Now I have a machine gun. Ho. Ho. Ho.”? And can Kilgrave from Jessica Jones talk his way out of a matchup with Hannibal Lecter?
