Ice-T: The new voice of children’s cartoons?

You”ve never heard Papa Smurf talk like this before.

On Thursday, rapper/actor/reality star Ice-T visited Jimmy Fallon on “The Tonight Show” and joked with the host that he actually used to do voiceover for such kids” cartoons as “Care Bears,” “The Smurfs” and “Dora the Explorer.” As you'd expect, from someone who has written songs with titles like “Shut Up, Be Happy,” “Pimp Anthem” and “Home Invasion,” these revised versions would most certainly upset Tipper Gore.

While voicing the head Smurf who is talking to a patient, Ice-T says, ”I think I know what the problem is, you need to man the [bleep] up,” before smacking the taste out his mouth.

Somewhere Adult Swim just came up with a new programming block.
