‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’s’ Kaitlin Olson on insulting her kids and more

With “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” returning this week, Kaitlin Olson explains what bad words you can expect from her character Dee Reynolds in season 9.

HitFix caught up with the actress at the San Diego Comic-Con back in July.

“I definitely love the insults that they write for Dee and I adopt those in my real life,” she says, which leads to her kids being labeled “d*ckbags.”
She also addresses the evolution of insults and cursing, the future of Dee’s nerve-wracked stand-up career and weird fan behavior, which is always on full display at Comic-Con. There’s even a cameo from one of her “Sunny” co-stars.
“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” returns tonight on its new channel FXX.
