Johnny Depp rides for justice in teaser for ‘The Lone Ranger’ Super Bowl spot: Watch

“The Lone Ranger” will ride off into the sunset during the Super Bowl.

A brand new TV spot for the upcoming western that reunites Johnny Depp with his “Pirates of the Caribbean” director Gore Verbinski will be shown during the pre-game festivities on Sunday, February 3.

In the latest take on the age-old Wild West vigilante character, Armie Hammer plays the masked title hero while Depp plays his trusted sidekick Tonto, as the pair ride through the West tangling with evil-doers, in this case corrupt train barons.

The delayed film cost a rumored $250 million and also stars William Fichtner, Tom Wilkinson, Barry Pepper and Helena Bonham Carter. It was co-written by “Pirates” scribes Ted Elliott & Terry Rossio and Justin Haythe, and produced by fellow “Pirates” vet Jerry Bruckheimer.

“Ranger” is among the several big budget films which will be advertised during the big games, along with “Iron man 3,” “World War Z,” “Star Trek Into Darkness” and others.

“The Lone Ranger” opens July 3.
