Watch: Justin Timberlake makes good in stellar Grammy comeback performance

Justin Timberlake is officially back on the music scene.

Revving up for the release of his long-awaited third solo album “The 20/20 Experience,” the singer gave an impressive performance on the Grammy stage this evening, belting out soulful versions of first single “Suit and Tie” (with an assist by Jay-Z) and a funky slow-tempo track called “Little Pusher Love Girl.”

“Hey little mama, ain’t gotta ask me if I want to, just tell me can I get a light? Roll you up and let it run through my veins,” sings Timberlake on the latter tune, a romance-as-drug-metaphor ditty backed by a big-band orchestra dubbed the Tennessee Kids.

Through it all, it was clear that the former ‘N Sync-ers powerful stage presence and pitch-perfect falsetto have been undiminished by his years away from the music spotlight, and the crowd at the ceremony clearly agreed – Timberlake left the stage to a standing ovation.

Both tunes will be featured on “The 20/20 Experience,” which is due for release on March 19. You can check out the full performance in the video above.
