‘Legion’ Season 2 Will Be Coming This Spring

FX

Noah Hawley’s Legion had a brief run with a blowout of a season finale that ended on a massive cliffhanger as two of the cast were abducted by very different foes. Now, more than a year later, we’re finally going to get some answers as Legion rolls out its second season April 3rd.

The second season picks up after a time skip. David (Dan Stevens), the powerful psychic who’s spent his life with a psychic parasite clinging to his brain, wakes up in a field to a very different set of circumstances. Division III, the government agency formerly out to kill him, has teamed up with the mutants who teased out his problems in attempt to prevent the Shadow King (Aubrey Plaza) and her new host Oliver Bird (Jemaine Clement) from… well… doing something. It’s not quite clear what, yet, but the Shadow King is unlikely to be happy with anybody. And then there’s the question of just who stuffed David in a Pokeball for an extended stretch of time.

Legion‘s second season will have ten episodes, a bump up from the eight of the first season. Which is good news for fans hoping to learn more about David’s world, or perhaps there’s just an entire episode of Clement reciting limericks. Either works!
