Megan Fox delivers on promise of new ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ trailer

Yesterday, Megan Fox promised the internet that if they went out and tweeted enough, new “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” character posters would be revealed along with a new trailer.  The internet responded, and now we have said new trailer which offers some new looks at the movie.

It is clear from the footage that despite what appears to be a far more gritty tone than earlier “Turtles” big screen adventures, the heroes in a half shell haven't completely lost their sense of humor.  Rafael even gets called out for trying a “Batman voice” on April.

Outside of seeing more of the Turtles and getting a better feel for their interactions, the new trailer also gives us more of a look at Shredder, including his pretty impressive armor with its detachable (and reattachable) blades.  Plus, Will Arnett gets to wisecrack and Whoopi Goldberg puts in an appearance.

What fans might find most interesting is the apparent multi-turtle-napping incident about halfway through the trailer.  Either that, or the continued kind of weird look of the Turtles' mouths, especially when they talk.

Do watch the trailer up above, check out the character posters down below, and don't be afraid to weigh in on the Turtle mouths (and noses).

“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” is directed by Jonathan Liebesman and is arriving in theaters on August 8th.
