The CW also released a new trailer for “Legends” today, featuring Vandal Savage's plans for world domination, and the possibility of the team going back in time to change their own fates. Check out the trailer below:

While “Legends of Tomorrow” was announced earlier this year at CW Upfronts, a full cast list and premiere date were only recently confirmed. Part of the waiting had to do with setting up certain character story lines on “The Flash”. For instance, even though Dr. Martin Stein (Victor Garber) was the only member of Firestorm on the roof in the initial “Legends” trailer, now we know that his new Firestorm counterpart, Jay Jackson (Franz Drameh), will be joining “Legends” as well. We already knew Sara Lance (Caity Lotz) would be back, as well as Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh), and both of those character's resurrections were featured on recent episodes of “Arrow”. Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee) will also be joined by her counterpart, Hawkman (Falk Hentschel), now that he was introduced in the recent “Flash”/”Arrow” crossover episodes.
