The holiday season just got 100% more One Direction, as the boy band has apparently booked their very own Christmas special for NBC.
The aptly titled “One Direction: The TV Special” airs on Dec. 23 at 8/7 p.m. EST/CST, a little more than a month after the band has “Today” show and “Un Nuevo Dia” (Telemundo) appearances booked. For those playing at home, yes, all three of those scheduled stops are for NBCUniversal.
No word what the band will be doing or performing during the special, but maybe they're open for some holiday suggestions?
The band has been virtually unavoidable all this fall, as they've been preparing for the Nov. 17 release of their fourth album “Four” and already released their one-weekend-only concert documentary “Where We Are” last month. One Direction's music video for “Steal My Girl” also scored a lot of eyeballs when it dropped at the end of October. They'll also appear on “Ellen” on Nov. 21 and on the American Music Awards on Nov. 23.
