Reese Witherspoon and Sofia Vergara on what you don’t see in ‘Hot Pursuit’

With the exception of “This Means War,” Reese Witherspoon has stuck mainly to dramatic roles in recent years. Sofia Vergara, meanwhile, has spent the last five years scoring acclaim (and four Emmy nominations) as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett on “Modern Family.” So we wondered: Did Witherspoon have to re-learn any of her comic chops from Vergara while filming their new movie?

We caught up with the stars of “Hot Pursuit,” the new action comedy starring Witherspoon and Vergara as a mismatched pair of pseudo-outlaws, to discuss the fun of making comedies, figuring out what to do when a scene isn't funny, and — for the hell of it — the single movie they've seen the most times.
