Report: Elisabeth Moss is also being eyed for “True Detective” Season 2
The “Mad Men” alum would play the female lead, a no-nonsense sheriff in Monterey, California, according to The Wrap, which says that Vince Vaughn won”t have a lead role on the HBO series. The male lead roles would instead go to Colin Farrell and Taylor Kitsch, should their negotiations be finalized. The Wrap also reports that “The Killing”s” Michelle Forbes is also up for a role.

Garofalo plays one of Lisa Edelstein”s best friends on Bravo”s first scripted series, a role she”ll continue on through October.
