Steve Bannon Looks Like Death Next To Donald Trump In The ‘SNL’ Cold Open

Earlier this week, President-elect Donald Trump insisted that he would have won the popular vote were it not for the “the millions of people who voted illegally.” He continued, “Serious voter fraud in Virginia, New Hampshire, and California – so why isn’t the media reporting on this? Serious bias – big problem!” When his unsubstantiated claims were questioned by Jeff Zeleny, who said, “Donald Trump is showing signs of being a sore winner,” Trump sent his Twitter followers after the CNN reporter, including one 16-year-old.

Twitter user @FiIibuster, whose profile demands to “Make America Great Again,” wrote, “Pathetic – you have no sufficient evidence that Donald Trump did not suffer from voter fraud, shame! Bad reporter.”

SNL used the cold open of tonight’s Emma Stone-hosted episode to make fun of Trump’s “endorsement,” with Kate McKinnon’s Kellyanne Conway insisting that her boss tweets to distract the mainstream media from shady business dealings. (He’s spent about as much time on social media as he has briefings on classified intelligence, with the Washington Post reporting, “[Some] have interpreted Trump’s limited engagement with his briefing team as an additional sign of indifference from a president-elect who has no meaningful experience on national security issues and was dismissive of U.S. intelligence agencies’ capabilities and findings during the campaign.”)

The sketch ends with a guest appearance from former Breitbart executive and Trump’s chief strategist Steve Bannon, who looks the way many feel.

UPDATE: And like clockwork, Trump himself responded to the sketch on Twitter
