Unless you”ve been living under a rock, you know that Suicide Squad is just weeks away from storming into theaters.
The film about the anti-superheroes stars Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Will Smith and a gaggle of other A-listers. But what”s really got people interested is what Leto will do with the always mercurial Joker. Now we know just a little more.
In a trailer released today, we see The Joker (looking like Alien from Spring Breakers, but with green hair) on what looks like a hunt to rescue Harley Quinn (Robbie). Once she”s been retrieved from behind bars, they proceed to blast their way out as only two completely insane criminals can. The trailer closes with Leto laying amidst an elegant cache of knives, guns and other weapons of mayhem.
Suicide Squad is out on August 5.
