This week, it was announced that Taran Killam, Jay Pharoah, and Jon Rudnitsky will not be returning to Saturday Night Live for its upcoming 42nd season on NBC. Last night, a “noticeably disappointed” Killam talked with Uproxx's Mike Ryan about his departure from the series.
In the exclusive Uproxx interview, Killam talked about how much he loved being on the show, as well as some of his favorite moments. Killam also admits that he doesn't “fully” know exactly what happened but does mention scheduling conflicts with Why We”re Killing Gunther, the Arnold Schwarzenegger movie that Killam is directing: “I”ll have two months of post-production that would have bled into the SNL production schedule, so we kind of communicated that.?”
