‘The Conjuring 2’ trailer: This time, with British accents

Based on the first trailer, The Conjuring 2 appears to have everything you could want from a Conjuring movie: languid shots drifting ominously down dark corridors; the eerie sounds of a music box winding down; upside down crosses; pale ghouls leaping from the shadows; “Based on a true story” claims despite the case in question probably being a hoax; Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson in period garb; kid tears.

In fact, the only thing that's different this time around, as far as I can tell, is that some of the characters speak in British accents (the film is set in London, where Ed and Lorraine Warren absolutely 100% battled a ghoul known as the “Enfield Poltergeist”). Pip-pip, Cheerio, and all that sort of rot! Watch the trailer above and below.

The Conjuring 2 is in theaters on June 10.
