Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is a one-man promoting machine and he's just used his Instagram once again to reveal info on the Jumanji sequel. It's our first look at his character's name and costume.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2's Karen Gillan boarded the project earlier this week which also features Johnson, Kevin Hart, Nick Jonas, and Jack Black. We still have no details as to the plot and while I assumed the other day there would be two kids involved just like the original film, now I'm not so sure.
Regardless, we now know Johnson is playing Dr. Bravestone and he'll look something like this.

The Indiana Jones vibe is not being lost on anyone of course (We named the dog Smoldering!). Johnson tweeted, “It's a lil' homage to a film that inspired me when I was a kid (yes, Spielberg knows;).” And also tweeted to a writer who said he looked like Indy for a new generation, “Appreciate the Indy reference. It's my lil' homage to one of my fav films of all time.”
I referenced this Saturday Night Live sketch of his when he was announced for Shane Black's Doc Savage project but I think it's even more appropriate now. It's Johnson playing “Dr. Bones” along with Ghostbusters' Kate McKinnon and Pete Davidson.
