Watch: Kid Cudi vamps it up in new ‘No One Believes Me’ video

Kid Cudi bears his teeth in this brand new video for his single “No One Believes Me,” from the upcoming horror-comedy “Fright Night.”

In the creepy clip, directed by the film’s helmer Craig Gillespie (“Lars and the Real Girl”), Cudi strolls around the bland suburban setting of the film, where he first sees some grisly goings on, and then takes part in them himself. “Twilight” haters may appreciate the fact that in this universe, vampires don’t glimmer in the sun — they explode.

The song itself is a slow, largely hook-less dirge with a creepy refrain that’s a far cry from some of the rapper-singer’s more upbeat hits like “Day ‘n’ Nite.”

In the film, a remake of the 1985 film, a suburban teen named Charley (“Star Trek’s” Anton Yelchin) and his buddy (Christopher Mintz-Plasse, “Superbad”) suspect that Charley’s new neighbor (Colin Farrell) is a vampire.

“Fright Night” opens nationwide in 2D and 3D August 19.

Kid Cudi’s third album, “Man on the Moon III” drops this Fall. You can see more of his acting skills on HBO’s “How to Make It in America.”
