The promo teasers and trailers for FX's upcoming sitcom Atlanta have been intentionally vague but intriguing (and visually cool) enough to keep our interest. In the latest, we watch Donald Glover wake up … and wake up and wake up. It doesn't provide much context to the show but it is interesting – and, smartly, FX released it right after giving us an official premiere date: September 6th.
Atlanta, which released another visually trippy promo early last month, is a semi-autobiographical series about two cousins trying to make it big in the Atlanta hip-hop scene while clashing the whole way. Watch the new promo below.
