There’s Nothing More Adorable Than This Cheetah Cub And Puppy Who Are The Best Of Friends

When a two-week-old cheetah named Kumbali at the Richmond Zoo was losing weight because his mother wasn’t producing enough milk, zookeepers had to take it upon themselves to bottle feed the cub every two hours. However, once Kumbali became older, zookeepers needed to socialize him, so they brought in a rescue puppy named Kago to step in. Pairing up cheetahs and puppies is not actually a new concept, as zookeepers have been doing it for more than 30 years now.

So, it should come as no surprise that Kumbali and Kago became fast friends, and as they grew older together, formed a sibling-like bond. The two are now inseparable, and, according to the Richmond Zoo’s website, may end up living out their lives together should Kumbali not be integrated back with the other cheetahs.
