Chipotle Has A Kinda Secret Menu That Could Save You Some Serious Cash

To say Chipotle has been going through some rough times would be an understatement. They’ve been throwing a lot at the walls of burritotown to see what will bring loyal customers back. But, maybe, the answer was there all along. You see, Chipotle has a kid’s menu. For some of us, this may be well known (because we’re always asking to see the kid’s menu to keep costs down), but for many, the kid’s menu is a secret option since it’s not on the restaurant menus in every store. The catch is that Chipotle doesn’t care what your age is when you order. And it’s way cheaper.

Let’s do a quick breakdown of what you get: The sometimes secret kid’s menu has two basic options, two tacos with two fillings and a protein, chips or fruit, and a small drink for a total price of $4.75. Ordering the exact same items from the adult menu costs $7.90. The second option is a little less luxe, but the kids’ version is still filling — a cheese quesadilla with a side of rice and beans, chips or fruit, and a small drink all for $3.75, or 50 cents more if you want meat in that quesadilla. Any way you order, that’s a whole lunch for less than five dollars. Not bad when you consider people spend $12 on average for lunch at Chipotle. You can use that extra six dollars you’re saving for an extra margarita!

People are starting to catch onto the savings and relish in a feeling like a kid again while ordering from the kid’s menu — every meal comes on a lunch tray straight out of your 3rd grade cafeteria. Nostalgia and saving some serious cash? E.Coli be damned! YOLO!
