People need to find better things to do with the free time on their hands. It used to be that idle hands were the devil’s plaything, but now it looks like the world is closer to idle hands being social media’s play thing. That may be one in the same actually and if you’ve ever scrolled through Twitter for more than a few minutes at a time that comparison will be readily apparent. The latest example is a father who apparently finds it hilarious to mimic his daughter’s appearance and then re-create her selfies for all the world to see. It seems like parents are finding new ways to embarrass their offspring on a daily basis.
Cassandra Martin, who has since gone viral for posting her dad’s re-creations, tweeted out that her dad likes to embarrass her on social media. Based on the photos, it looks like Cassie is still pretty young so we would like to say to her “duh, he’s your dad, you should probably get used to the constant stream of mortifying moments from now until you are 45.” Her dad not only dressed up like her in each picture but even copied her copious tattoos and found a way to give himself a real-life Snapchat filter leafy crown (or close to it). It looks as though Cassie found a way to turn duck face into a smile though, as she is using her newfound viral status as a way to promote her vocal talents. As you can see from the below video she is indeed a good singer, so hopefully her dad posing in a crop top turns out to be a blessing in disguise in the long run.
