Is there any way in which we will not consume a Cadbury Creme Egg? We’ll eat them in McFlurries, we’ll eat them in sandwiches, and now, thanks to someone who’s both brilliant and diabolical (and possibly being paid off by the people who make heart medication), we’ll be eating them deep-fried and in burger form.
The burger, which is available at the Studio Kitchen restaurant at the K West Hotel & Spa in London, is a deep-fried creme egg covered in mascarpone and jelly (that’s the patty), which is then squeezed in between two sweet brioche buns and covered in white chocolate. And if that’s not enough to get you googling the nearest emergency room, then the raspberry sprinkles that top it all off just might. Because, you know, it needed that hit of sweet.
According to the hotel’s Instagram, the burger is available now, but only for a limited time. So, if this was the year you were planning to visit London, you might want to book your tickets now. Who knows how long it will be until some governing body forces this item off the menu?
