Gordon Ramsay Tries Girl Scout Cookies For The First Time And He Is Definitely Not Impressed

Self-professed veganphobe Gordon Ramsay stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live on Wednesday night to chat about the current season of Hell’s Kitchen, which is celebrating its 15th season this year. Shortly into the conversation, however, Jimmy Kimmel brought up an unrelated rumor he had heard about the impassioned celebrity chef. Despite having spent a considerable amount of time in the United States by now, Gordon Ramsay had yet to undergo the American rite of passage of eating a Girl Scout cookie.

Always prepared, Kimmel had a tray waiting behind his desk containing boxes of Tagalongs, Thin Mints, and Samoas for Ramsay to try. Despite a warning that he was entering sacred territory, Ramsay remarks right off the bat that “visually, they look like dog biscuits.” Which, okay — I’ve seen what the British refer to as proper English “biscuits,” so maybe dial it back there, chief.

He starts with the Tagalong, which he says is “okay” but things go downhill when he moves to the Samoas and Thin Mints. And when I say “downhill” I mean, OH NO YOU DIDN’T JUST SPIT OUT A BITE OF SAMOA, GORDON RAMSAY. The Thin Mint likewise suffers a similar fate, which Ramsay calls a “cheap, half-rate dinner mint.”

Grounds for deportation? Somebody get Donald Trump on this guy’s ass.
