Here’s What You Need To Know About McDonald’s’ New McPick 2 Menu

McDonald’s is banking on customers having an appetite for their recently unveiled McPick 2 menu. Starting on January 4, the fast food giant will be introducing a promotion where customers (people like you!) can select any two items from a set series of offerings for a grand total of two bucks. Your choices are a McDouble, a McChicken, mozzarella sticks and small fries.

This 2016 rollout represents the clown-employing food vendor’s latest attempt to rework/rebrand their latest version of the Dollar Menu. The McPick 2 concept aims to provide more options at better prices and (if successful) provide the company with an added boost in their sales turnaround. It’s arguably the biggest change the company’s made since the arrival of all-day breakfast earlier this year.

The McPick 2 menu is locked in for U.S. locations in a matter of weeks, but there’s no guarantee that the original quartet of value options will remain the same. The Associated Press notes that while the name and concept will be sticking around, you might see details change after its initial five week run. Maybe they’ll have Grimace nuggets in the spring? Mystery abounds!
