Starbucks Fans Are Hyped On The All-Chocolate-Everything Valentine’s Day Drinks

Starbucks is getting their mocha sauce on this Valentine’s Day. Yesterday, the company announced its new three-beverage V-Day lineup, available now through the 14th. And yeah. It’s pretty chocolate heavy.

First on the roster is the Molten Chocolate Latte. “Chocolatey chips are melted into espresso, then topped with steamed milk combined with bittersweet mocha sauce. This latte is finished with mocha and espresso-infused whipped cream and an espresso mocha drizzle. It’s available hot and iced.”

Hold up. Chocolate chips are melted into the espresso? And how about that espresso whipped cream? Starbucks, you’re drunk — stay here!

Moving on from the latte, there’s also the Molten Chocolate Frappuccino, which is “coffee with rich mocha sauce and chocolatey chips blended with milk and ice,” and is topped with that same mocha-espresso-whipped-cream-sauce-drizzle goodness. Nom. That one’s got the chips blended into the chill.

Finally, for all you non coffee-drinkers, don’t worry. Starbucks didn’t forget to bring the love. The Molten Hot Chocolate is coffee-free and consists of “bittersweet mocha sauce and chocolatey chips melted into steamed milk for a smooth and creamy taste.” Well, okay. It’s got the mocha sauce, and it’s still topped with that mocha whipped cream. But a little coffee sauce never hurt anyone, right?

Customers seem to be taking to the new menu pretty well. Because, Starbucks. Can they really do anything wrong amongst their core audience of extreme sugar addicts?

Although there is the dissenter who feels the drinks might be a little bit too chocolaty.

And the person who found hers to be not chocolaty enough, only to get to the bottom of the cup…

In addition to the new limited-time drinks, Starbucks is also offering the very cute #StarbucksDate GIF Giver, which you can use to create personalized GIFs for your loved ones. Because nothing says “I love you” like a corporate e-card that you spent less five seconds typing your date’s name into.

That said…
