Olivia Wilde was the guest on last night’s Colbert Report and after she and Stephen spent the first few minutes of the interview discussing her support of Obama — she even wore a “Dogs Against Romney” pin — the conversation turned to acting, which led Colbert to challenge Wilde to a contest to see who could “act harder.” Hilarity then ensued.
And no offense to Olivia Wilde, who I adore unhealthily, but Colbert totally won the contest. Sorry, O.
Enjoy…
Additionally, Colbert did a segment on Mitt Romney’s love of “competitive horse prancing,” which led to this wonderful GIF hitting the internet…
Here’s the segment…
Colbert clearly won with “Arousal”.
The things I would eat of Olivia Wilde’s purse.
I thought the repartee between Olivia Wilde and Colbert was absolutely hysterical. They played off each other very nicely, and I think Olivia was a pro at injecting humor in a way that fit Colbert’s style. That was one of the better/funnier interviews I’ve seen on Colbert in a while – just comparing amongst the light-hearted comedic interviews. I’d like to say Colbert won the acting challenge, but it’s hard to take your eyes off Olivia Wilde when given the two faces to choose to look at.
It was pretty funny how Denis Leary and Olivia Wilde were Letterman’s guests a couple nights ago, and then last night Wilde was on Colbert, and Denis Leary just happened to fill in for Marco Rubio on The Daily Show. Good lineup both times.
Olivia Wilde is so cool and so sexy. She’s like the female Brad Pitt.
But she shoulda bit her lip for the aroused one. Would’ve won hands down.
Jason Sudeikis is a lucky, lucky man.
