Jon Jones has gold back around his waist, and is now the interim UFC light heavyweight champion. He looked tentative and rusty, but was utterly dominant nonetheless. The methodical title fight capped off an exciting night of UFC action.

Main card

—Jon Jones def. Ovince Saint Preux via unanimous decision. You can read the full breakdown here.

—Demetrious Johnson def. Henry Cejudo via KO (round 1). Mighty Mouse proved once again that he’s one of if not the best UFC champion today with this incredible performance.

—Edson Barboza def. Anthony Pettis via unanimous decision. This was all Barboza, and it was pretty much a perfect fight from the Brazilian, who leg-kicked Pettis into oblivion.

—Robert Whittaker def. Rafael Natal via unanimous decision. If not for all of the action and the stunning kick from Yair Rodriguez, this would’ve been way more hyped.

—Yair Rodriguez def. Andre Fili via one of the craziest flying switch head kicks you’ll ever see. (Round 2)
