Robert Downey Jr. Helped Raise $2 Million For Charity, So Here’s A New ‘Avengers: Age Of Utron’ TV Spot

You might be thinking, “Hey, it’s another Avengers: Age of Ultron TV spot that shows Earth’s mightiest superheroes breaking a bunch of stuff, hooray!” Or maybe you’re thinking, “Great, more footage from a movie we’ve already seen too much footage from… hooray.” You might even be thinking, “Ugh, another comic book movie? Call me when my favorite foreign documentaries get wide release.” But this latest Ultron TV spot is actually the result of something really, truly awesome and wonderful.

Remember Robert Downey Jr.’s Omaze contest that will have the world’s luckiest fan attending the Los Angeles premiere of this instant blockbuster with Tony Stark himself? It raised an incredible $2,048,605 for Julia’s House, a children’s hospice that assists life-limited children and their families in Dorset, England. While there’s no word yet on who was lucky enough to win the life-sized Iron Man suit, I would be willing to pay that person a handsome sum (not one, but two crisp Abraham Lincolns) to take it off his hands. Call me.
